Polyplastic has been manufacturing acrylic windows for more than 40 years. Until the mid-sixties flat, clear acrylic sheets were the standard. In 1966, Polyplastic introduced a new, functional, yet attractive "top hung window system", which is still used in leisure vehicles today.
In 1972, Polyplastic developed dual glazed windows with strong insulating characteristics. This was followed in 1976 by tinted acrylic with the best insulation characteristics, which significantly reduced the entry of light and thereby heat as well.
As well as the top hung windows that are still predominately used even today, Polyplastic also started manufacturing aluminium frame windows in 1994. The groundbreaking design developments in Polyplastic deserve special mention, with which both the window systems enjoy undisputed leadership all over Europe.
The following are a few of the available Polyplastic window systems:
- Fixed windows (which cannot be opened)
- Top hung windows (which can be opened)
- Aluminium frame windows (which can be opened)
- Aluminium frame sliding windows (which can be opened)
- Accessories (hinges, locks, rubber seals, etc)
